Perth is world-renowned for its spectacular coastline – walking and cycle paths hug the sunset coast along West Coast Drive and the iconic Rottnest Island. Mandurah and Peel offer a great selection of trails along the rivers, estuary and in the forests and the picturesque scenery of the Swan Valley and Perth Hills make it perfect for cycling and hiking. Or if you’re up for a day of mountain bike challenge – Dwellingup will take you into your zone.

For a maritime feel, take a half hour journey south to Fremantle on the coast or take a short ferry boat ride to beautiful Rottnest Island. On the island you can soak up the laid-back, beachside holiday atmosphere, explore the idyllic bays and picturesque scenery, snorkel pristine waters and hire a bike for a relaxing cycle trails around the whole island.
 
The stunning coastline along the beautiful Indian Ocean is a water lover’s paradise with the southern coastal towns of Rockingham and Mandurah providing the region all the style of city amenities with a real holiday feel.
