The Pines Mountain Bike Network

The Pines Mountain Bike Network is located north of the Margaret River Town Centre and contains over 16 kilometres of mountain biking trails.

Trails range from Easy (Green) to Difficult (Black), containing uphill, downhill and cross-country trails. This trail network is popular for intermediate mountain bikers looking to explore the various trail networks in the Wooditjup National Park and test their skills on various downhill jump and flow trails. There are many other surrounding networks the most popular being Wooditjup Mountain Bike Network (formally known as Compartment 10).
For further information riders can visit the Margaret River Visitors Centre or the Margaret River Off-Road Cycling Association website.

Margaret River is located 270 kilometres south of Perth, via the Kwinana Freeway, Bussell Highway and then Carters Road. The main trailhead is located just off Carters Road at the Wooditjup National Park Car Park.

Public Transport Options:

TransWA operates regular public transport from the Perth City Station to Margaret River Bus Station via the Bunbury Terminal.

The main trailhead is located at the Carters Road Carpark. The facilities here include parking, visitor information and a picnic area. You will need to bring your own water as it is not supplied in the park. For other facilities including café’s, visitor information centres, toilets and more, Margaret River Town Centre is only a 5 minute drive away.

Supported by great organisations

Trails are free and bring so many benefits to our community by providing opportunities to have fun, get fit, socialise, explore and challenge yourself. But they also have to be managed and maintained which only is made possible through terrific sponsors, donations and/or volunteering.
