Margaret River Mountain Bike Trails

Wooditjup Network (Compartment 10), Creek Trails, The Pines and Ten Mile are the key networks in WA's mountain biking mecca. Set in the forest amidst gigantic trees and spectacular scenery, over 50km of mountain bike trails are a mix of gravel roads and single track, suitable for beginner to advanced riders. Wooditjup's little hillside in Margaret River has been wrung for all its worth, providing riders with a fairly short but compelling mountain biking experience. To sum it up... it's all about flow. If you're looking for more of a cruise, the easy and scenic Wadandi Track (Rails to Trails) and Ten Mile Brook tracks are great for all levels of fitness and skill. The Pines slopes are small but worth the visit - 15 km of network which is both engaging and diverse. Die-hard mountain bikers will find epic mountain bike trails that have relentless jumps, berms, logs, roll overs, scrambles, mud and dust. Grommets and leisure seekers won't be left behind either!

Dwellingup - Adventure Trails & Murray Valley Trails

Dwellingup Adventure Trails are the newest single track network added to the already bustling adventure tourism destination of Dwellingup (which also offers guided canoeing and rafting trips, camping and hiking). Historically the town has been known as the location of the Dwellingup 100 Mountain Bike Adventure Marathon, but since the new trails have opened, the MTB vibe is all year round. The Dwellingup MTB Trail network is located in and to the North of the town centre and contains over 17 kms of trails ranging from easier to moderate uphill, downhill and cross-country trails. Additionally, the 32km Murray Valley trails network are a short drive from town. These Karri forests offer 'hero dirt' purpose-built, quality MTB trails with a wide selection for all skills and trail experiences. Over 135kms of MTB trails call this area home alongside the Munda Biddi which cruises right through town - offering a nice mix of adventure and cruisy long-distance gravel.

Collie Mountain Bike Trails

The historic town of Collie, previously a mining town has undergone a radical transformation into a mountain bike mecca. With over 140km of existing and new networks of professionally built singletracks sprouting up everywhere. The Munda Biddi long distance trail runs straight through the town as does the newcomer - Collie Wagyl Biddi network, great for beginners to intermediates. Just a few kilometres out you'll find the Arklow network - open Jarrah forest offering flow trail and narrower, technical single track. The most remarkable networks are in Wellington National Park - Mt Lennard, offers 65km of singletrack, ranging from gravity fuelled shuttle runs to adaptive friendly trails. Or if you're up for something longer and more leisurely, the Collie Darkan Rail Trail is not only scenic but historic. The options are endless - and don't forget to check out the awe-inspiring and very instagrammable dam wall mural when you visit.

Mund Biddi Long-Distance Track

The Munda Biddi Trail is Western Australia’s premier long distance off-road cycling experience - the longest of its kind in the world! Starting in Mundaring (Perth), the 1070km trail meanders through scenic river valleys, magnificent ancient forests or wind-shaped coasts of the state’s South West. Joined by purpose-built track, the Munda Biddi (which means path through the forest in the Noongar language) uses a network of bush tracks, firebreaks, and disused railway formations and has sections suitable for cyclists of all ages and experience levels. Tackle it as an epic end to end adventure (allow 10-20 days depending on your pace) or ride the Trail for an hour, a day, overnight. Camp in purpose-built shelters, or stay in the trail towns (every 50-100km) along the way.
