Hill Street Walk is an easy, 2.4 kilometre walk through native reserve bushland in the Kalamunda National Park in Gooseberry Hill, 30 minutes (26 kilometres) east of Perth. The trail is comfortable and peaceful with the sounds of birds filtering through the jarrah and redgums, offering glimpses of the open forest and woodlands of Piesse Brook. The bushland comes alive with wildflowers during wildflower season, typically August to October.

The trail commences at the eastern end of Hill Street in Gooseberry Hill, where a white gate marks the start of the track. Just past the white gate is the first Shire of Kalamunda sign posted high on a tree, and a blue trail marker directing you to head to your right.

The first part of the track is wide and follows a fence to your right. Towards the end of the fence at its corner you will need to continue going straight ahead along a smaller, narrower track, you will find the blue trail marker not far along to confirm you are on the right path.

There are a number of forks along the path but signage is fairly clear, with blue trail markers showing you which path to take.

Please note that there is no car park at the start of the track, but there is space to park on the roadside.

The walk trail map and trail notes are available for download at the Shire of Kalamunda website
