Recommended for moderate intermediate riders with some technical mountain biking experience. Typically narrow trails with loose, soft, rocky or slippery sections and hills with short steep sections. Riders will encounter obstacles and technical trail features.
Camakazi is a 4 kilometre downhill blue trail, in the Kalamunda Mountain Bike Network. Located at the nothern edge of the network, with access from a fire road.
A real favourite for those who just like to ride trails. Definitely one way with lots of fast traffic heading east with berm after berm, some small jumps and a few rocks to keep it interesting.
More single track than downhill it climbs 50 metres before descending 140 metres over the 3.9 kilometres. It does allow you to wind it up in the middle with some small berms allowing you to carry your speed and some medium size jumps to keep you on your toes. There is a good meeting spot at the end of the trail when you come onto the fire road. Named after one of the volunteer trail builders Cam.
