About Panorama Reserve, Toodyay
Access to this hidden reserve is from Panorama View off Salt Valley Road. The entrance is very narrow but there is room for parking. Follow the fire break on the western boundary around until it terminates overlooking the historical Clackline Railway line and enjoy the view from here.
The terrain is dirt tracks with slopes.
The reserve abounds in spring wildflowers and provides important habitat for many bird species. Salt Valley Road also has a great display of wildflowers during the Spring season.

- Minimum 2 litres of water per person per day
- Sturdy shoes
- Sun hat or bike helmet (compulsory in WA)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen (30+) and insect repellant
- Binoculars and camera (optional)
- Map or guide book where suggested
- Snacks and/or lunch depending on length of trail
- Clothes to suit the activity and potential weather conditions including a water/windproof jacket
- First Aid kit
No bushwalking experience required. The track is a hardened or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km. Suitable for families with young children.
