This walk-trail heads from Wooleen Homestead towards the flood country and Wooleen Lake. Get your walking booklet from the homestead and stop at the various interpretive sites which explain the diverse flora, pastoral heritage, indigenous bush tucker and conservation theories on the station.
Half-way around consider taking the extended loop which passes through a tea-tree thicket before emerging onto the Wooleen Lake. A picnic table provides the perfect place to stop for a while and take in your surroundings. Re-join the trail at Judy's windmill and head towards the homestead to visit the museum.
