Toodyay is known for its parks, wildflowers, nature reserves, natural bushland and riverside areas - so bring your picnic basket, stock it up and head to one of the many picturesque locations.
The trail can be experienced in half a day, a whole day or be enjoyed over a few days - the choice is yours! Perhaps stay a while at one of the many B&B’s and other accommodation in town and out in the bushland surrounding Toodyay. This trail provides the opportunity to explore this ‘hidden country gem’ right on Perth’s doorstep.
Toodyay is situated inland in the picturesque Avon Valley region, only 80km North east of Perth. A population of 4,439 stretched over 1,683 kilometres means there is plenty of space to enjoy the peace and quiet. During wildflower season (August to November) the local reserves come alive with colour, making Toodyay a must see.
