This dive and snorkel trail features 20 informative plinths located on the seafloor to guide your way. The 400 metre trail takes scuba divers and snorkellers on an interactive journey through the clear waters of the marine park, which are often inhabited by a colourful array of fish and marine species.

Learn moreSuitable for all levels, the trail varies in depth between two to six metres, with 20 underwater plinths installed to guide divers and snorkellers, printed with fun activities and facts. The plaques were illustrated by Kellee Merritt and feature a range of sea creatures likely to be encountered in the marine park.
Arrows on top of each plinth indicate the direction and distance (in metres) to the next plinth.Â
Accompanying the trail is a mural painted on the outside of the Marmion Angling and Aquatic Club (MAAC) by local artist Brenton See, featuring land-based information and safety signage.Â
The trail is suitable for SCUBA divers and snorkellers depending on weather conditions, experience and ability.

Check weather conditions before entering the water. Always dive or snorkel with a buddy. Check your snorkelling gear before entering the water.
The use of gidgees, spearguns or any sharp instrument is prohibited within 1800 metres of the shore throughout the Marmion Marine Park.
