Learn moreAbout Convict, Goat Farm Mountain Bike Park
Convict is an easy cross country loop trail that winds through the trees along the side of the Convict Creek and concludes at a bridge crossing. This trail was designed with less experienced riders in mind. The gentle undulating terrain makes this an excellent adventurous trail for parents riding with young children.
Convict is rated as an adaptive trail and is suitable for hand cyclists (Adaptive 3.5).
For a longer ride or a more challenging experience, Convict can be combined with other trails in the Goat Farm Mountain Bike Park. Combine Probation, Convict, Banishment and Ngarna for the ultimate cross country exploration of the Goat Farm on easy (Green) trails.
What's in a name? Dating back to the early colonial days, the Goat Farm was a convict depot where convict labour was used to mine bluestone from the quarries. Keep an eye out for some of the original stone footings as you ride.
The Goat Farm Mountain Bike Park contains over 20km of mountain bike trails and a dedicated Skills Park with skills and jump areas. The Goat Farm trails range from Easy (Green) to Extreme (Double Black) and include four trails suitable for adaptive cyclists.
