About Congelin Siding Walk, Dryandra Woodland
This 1.6km loop trail is a short introduction to the area near Congelin Dam. It starts from either the Congelin Dam picnic area or the campground. Signs interpret many of the remaining features still visible along the line.

- Minimum 2 litres of water per person per day
- Sturdy shoes
- Sun hat or bike helmet (compulsory in WA)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen (30+) and insect repellant
- Binoculars and camera (optional)
- Map or guide book where suggested
- Snacks and/or lunch depending on length of trail
- Clothes to suit the activity and potential weather conditions including a water/windproof jacket
- First Aid kit
Congelin Campground, Dryandra, 170km (2 hours) south east of Perth.
No bushwalking experience required. The track is a hardened or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km. Suitable for families with young children.
FacilitiesThere are campgrounds at Congelin Dam and Gnaala Mia. There is cottage accommodation at Lions Dryandra Village. Picnic facilities are available at Dryandra village and the old Mill Dam. Barna Mia is an animal sanctuary within Dryandra offering nocturnal tours.
