    Miners campground, Coalseam Pk, 100km east of Geraldton or 440km (5 hours) north of Perth.
  • Degree of Difficulty

     Grade 3 - Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may have short steep hill sections a rough surface and many steps. Walks up to 20km.

  • What to Pack?

    No drinking water available in the park.

    July to October to view the wildflowers
  • Facilities

    The park has year-round access for all vehicles via well-formed gravel roads. However, during periods of heavy rain the Irwin River may flood and be impassable until the water level drops. Check with the Shire of Mingenew on the road condition following significant rainfall. Camping for both caravans and tents is permitted at Miners with overflow camping at Breakaway. Be prepared for crowded conditions during weekends in the wildflower season, and the limit of a three night stay between late July and October.

  • Hazards & Warnings

    Water crossing with slippery rocks when wet. Summer months (December to April) can be extremely hot. Trail has some steep slopes, uneven surfaces and loose rocks, caution is advised.

    No fires, pets or firearms use are permitted in the park.
