    Flintstone – Beedoboondu car park, Mount Augustus National Park, 1100km (16 hours) north of Perth
  • Degree of Difficulty

     Grade 5 - Very experienced bushwalkers with specialised skills, including navigation and emergency first aid. Tracks are likely to be very rough, very steep and unmarked. Walks may be more than 20km.

    Fit and experienced walkers only. Register for the walk at the Mount Augustus Outback Tourist Resort

  • What to Pack?

    Carry at least four litres of water per person, get an early start and do not walk in the hotter months from September to March. For your safety carry a Personal Location Beacon (PLB) or satellite phone.

    No camping or open fires in National Park or Pastoral Lease . No pets
  • Access to the Trail

    Mainly unsealed roads. Roads may be closed after heavy rain. Check conditions before travelling. Carry ample fuel, water and supplies to cope with all possible occurrences - see Group D list.
