Jarrahdale is the perfect weekend escape to experince beautiful trails in the old growth Jarrah forest, all within an hour of the Perth CBD.
Jarrahdale is approximately a 50-minute drive from the Perth CBD. The Historic Town can be accessed either via Kwinana Freeway, (then Mundijong Road), or via Southern Western Highway, before turning at Jarrahdale Road.
The scenic way via the Munda Biddi Trail starting in Mundaring (Southbound) or Dwellingup (Northbound), or commuter's way via Byford, riding up Nettleton Road to Jarrahdale.
For Southbound through-hikers of the Bibbulmun Track, Jarrahdale is around the 100km mark from Kalamunda, making it the perfect stop to resupply and for a "zero day" hike.
Jarrahdale is a 45-minute drive from Perth International Airport where cars could be hired, and 30 minutes from Jandakot Airport.
