Learn moreAbout Four Aces Walk Trail, Donnelly River NR
This trail starts at One Tree Bridge, an old bridge made from a single karri tree that once spanned the Donnelly River. Walkers then head west towards the Four Aces, with options of taking the northern route or smaller southern route through the karri forest. Keep a look out for various bird species, including the splendid fair-wren and scarlet robin. If you're lucky you might even spot a quokka.
At the furthest west point of this loop you'll find yourself at the Four Aces, four massive karri tress growing in a perfectly straight line. If the karri is in blossom, you will be able to the hear the shrieking of the purple-crowned lorikeet as they search for the sweetest nectar in the tree tops.
