Take on a challenging but rewarding 20km hike among granite boulders, waterfalls and wildflowers while raising money to help medical researchers beat the hardest-to-treat cancers, heart disease, diabetes and rare genetic diseases.
This is the first trek in a new series called 'Perkins Tough Treks' in which various challenging treks are carried out annually for those that love the outdoors but who also want to raise money for a good cause. Every cent that people fundraise goes towards our world class medical research into the world's toughest diseases such as cancer, heart disease and rare genetic diseases. The events can accommodate individuals but also teams of trekkers who want to take part in groups.
John Forrest National Park is easily accessible from Perth's wider metropolitan area, located in the Hills. We'll meet at 7.30am, get acquainted with our guides, and prepare for set off at 8am. Our Tough Trek will take around 8 hours to complete.
