The City of Armadale offers a myriad of bush trails, both walking and mountain biking, including access to the famous Bibbulmun Track and the Munda Biddi Mountain Bike trails. With trails suitable for beginners through to experienced hikers, there really is something for everyone.

Grab your camera and hit the trails. Armadale is popular with birdwatchers keen to spot native birds from the delicate Splendid Fairy Wrens and rare Red-eared Firetail Finch to the elegant but endangered Black Cockatoos.
With names like Honeyeater, Robin and Cockatoo, the trails of Bungendore Park are a popular destination for birdwatching or maybe visit the Forrestdale Lake Trail which is home to some 72 different waterbird and 74 different bush bird species.
Access world class rowing, canoeing and kayaking facilities at the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre. Or walk or ride the 5 kilometre Champion Lakes Circuit Trail.
Visit the beautiful historic Roley Pools trails along Djarlgarro (the Canning River) and learn about the local environment, history and wildlife that live there using the unique QR codes along the trail.

Come and explore the Perth Hills Armadale, only 30 kilometres south of the Perth CBD and surrounded by nature.
Drive: Just over half an hours drive south of the Perth CBD, Armadale is accessable by car, south along the Albany Highway or via the Kwinana Freeway, taking the Armadale Road exit to the left.
Public Transport: Catch the 220 or the 221 Transperth Bus from the Perth Busport to the Armadale Train Station, allowing easy access to the central city trails like the ReDiscover Armadale Urban Art Trail and the Rediscover Armadale's Heritage Trees trail.
Due to the planned shutdown of the Armadale line, the train service to Armadale will be unavailable until mid 2025.
Armadale is a pleasant 40km cycle from Perth along the Armadale PSP (Principle Shared Path).
For arrivals from Perth airport, the drive is just under half an hour. Hire cars are available on arrival at both terminals, prebooking is recommended.
