Top Trail: Big Pine, Bramley Forest (Comp. 10), Margaret River
About the Trail
Located right on the edge of Margaret River town, The Pines are some of the best mountain bike trails in WA. Easy fire road climbs, fast, flowing singletrack descents, berms and fun table top jumps characterise these awesome tracks.
With the easy climbs and great fun smooth rollable trails the Pines are suitable for riders of all abilities. For the intermediate to more advanced riders there are plenty of berms to rail and table tops to jump.
You will find yourself riding back up to the middle of the forest time and time again to re-ride your favourite trails.
The trails are located just to the North of Carters Rd, which itself is the first turn to the left (west) when leaving Margaret River to the north.
There is a small car park on Carters Rd just before the rail trail crossing. Or park at the Rotary car park on the north side of town or it is not far to ride from your accommodation if staying in town - particularly if you are near the rail trail.
There is no set order to ride the trails in, and once you get a feel for the forest you will devise your own loops based on which track you prefer. A full loop is around 10km.Allow a couple of hours to explore these trails.
The area was logged in 2015. For up-to-date details on trails contact the visitor centre.
