Yanchep Rose Trail
About the Trail
This trail starts at the McNess House Visitor Centre in Yanchep National Park. The trail has markers with the native Yanchep Rose emblem. It passes by Cabaret Cave and then crosses Wanneroo Road to offer a circular route which takes in some old bunkers from World War II. There is a lookout which offers views across the coastal plain, which in spring is covered in wildlfowers, including the Yanchep Rose for which this trail is named. The track is limestone and sand and can become heavy underfoot as summer progreses. It is best suited to winter and spring as there is little tree cover.
