About the Trail

The Woodland Walk leaves from the car park and is a moderately easy  walk that follows the edge of a granite outcrop in the Billyacatting Hill Nature Reserve near the wheatbelt town of Kununoppin.  There are numerous benches to rest and enjoy the scenery and watch the birds and other wildlife.  The trail returns back via an open woodland of York and Salmon gums.

There are many interpretive signs along the trail.  A large variety of flora is to be found including many quandong trees, orchids and other wildflowers.

This trail shares the trailhead with the Hilltop Walk and the two trails can be combined for a longer walk.
