This trail is perfect for families and the less experienced rider. Easy enough for all the family, including Grannies like me, but with enough technicalities to make it fun. The trail head is at Soldiers Park in the Collie town site and follows the river. It can be teamed up with Sprockets Rocket and ridden as a loop ending up back at the park in town. I've seen a lot of families making use of this trail. One parent waits at the park with the younger children, making use of the playground while the other one takes the older kids out for a ride.
Trails are free and bring so many benefits to our community by providing opportunities to have fun, get fit, socialise, explore and challenge yourself. But they also have to be managed and maintained which only is made possible through terrific sponsors, donations and/or volunteering.
