Learn moreThis trail loops around the lower end of Lesmurdie Falls, where the iconic waterfalls are located. Follow the trail up the brook and cross over to the scarp, from here it is mostly downhill to Palm Terrace. Cross the brook or continue onto the road if the water is flowing. Return up the other side of the valley on the Foot of the Falls trail.

Lesmurdie Falls carpark off Falls Road, 22km (30 minutes) east of Perth.
June to November. Winter to spring when there is plenty of water and wildflowers.
Class 3
Moderate trail that may have short steep hills, rough surface, many steps or some rock hopping. Directional signage. Some bushwalking experience and moderate fitness required.
Group B - Hiking & Long Distance Trails (Bushwalks and/or longer trails)
Supervise children near water - rocks are slippery when wet. Be careful of fallen tree debris (gumnuts) as they can be a slip hazard.
No bikes, motorbikes, horses, camping or open fires. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Carry 3 to 4 litres of water per person per day, however, individual needs may vary depending on weather conditions and terrain. Avoid sunstroke and sunburn - wear long-sleeved, loose clothes, a hat and apply sunscreen.
The area contains a large car park, three large picnic tables with shade, toilet facilities and rubbish bins.
