This scenic trail offers two walking options: a 3km loop around Yallingup town, or a 2km coastal walk to Yallingup Beach and back. Keep an eye out for the crab trail markers featuring a purple rock crab—these little creatures can sometimes be spotted scurrying along the rocky shoreline.

To the south, walkers are treated to sweeping views of the turquoise waters at Smiths Beach, stretching toward the dramatic granite formations of Canal Rocks. Looking north, the trail reveals vistas across Yallingup township and along the rugged coastline to the iconic Sugarloaf Rock.

The trail has some steep sections, and is on a mix of sandy and sealed surfaces. There is access to Smiths Beach from Torpedo Rock carpark down a steep track with log steps.

At Slippery Rocks carpark there is a bronze sculpture called "Korrianne" who is a young Wadandi girl playing with her hair. She has a melancholy gaze as she thinks about someone she cannot marry. This sculpture was created by Cerys Allerton in consultation with Wadandi Elder and Art Consultant Sandra Hill and Pibulmun/Wadandi Cultural Custodian, Wayne Wonitji Webb.

Find out more about the story of Korrianne here from Wayne.
