While the there has always been riding near the town this block is access by most riders by car. There is a gate to go through and a shaded car park with a trail head sign and a range of structures to play on. With a compact but predominately sandy soil the trail is at its fasts after a little bit of rain and the whole block is on a mild slope dropping to the south. This means that when you leave the carpark you gently roll to the right as you tackle this network counter clockwise. The slope of the block also makes navigation relatively easy despite the fact you are twisting and turning all the time. About halfway through the ride you can short cut back to the carpark but this misses some of the bigger faster sections of trail in the eastern end of the block.
