This paddle is 6km return and takes you from the Swarbrick Jetty, up the Walpole River to where the South Western Highway crosses the river.
You can also paddle the Walpole River from Walpole Town Jetty or Rest Point.
The Walpole Inlet icovers 100 hectares and doesn't get much deeper than 1 metre!
Offering protection from the wind, the Walpole River is generally classified as easy with slow to fast moving water and few obstacles. Although the Walpole River flows all year round, about eighty percent of the discharge occurs during winter and spring, which can result in seasonal currents.
