This walk meanders from the information gazebo down to the sandbar at the river. This area is a popular fishing and swimming place. You can then return to the gazebo via the river or through the open savannah woodland beside the road. Trailside signs interpret local Bunaba people's knowledge and use of the plants, animals and landscape.
The sandbar is at the junction of the Margaret River and the Fitzroy River.
