Ray’s Trail is 7 kilometres of ‘Old School’ blue technical narrow single track with lots of twists and turns. One of the original and favourite trails in the Arklow network.

This trail is totally crazy! You have never seen so much old school single track, in such a little space! It keeps you on your toes as it twists and turns, loop after loop, through the jarrah forest.

Part of the Arklow network, this trail is totally crazy! You have never seen so much old school single track, in such a little space! It keeps you on your toes as it twists and turns, loop after loop, through the jarrah forest.

It's a 7 km, blue trail, mix of single track and fire trail, with a killer climb and good downhill run. Throw in a decent log ride and a series of jumps and it’s a lot of fun!

You will find Rays Trail about 5 km north of town on Harris River Rd, just past Harris River Estate Winery or you can ride out from town on the Munda Biddi and Dead Cats to access Rays.

There is access to the winery directly off the trail, making it the perfect lunch stop, after a gruelling morning's ride.

There is also a shuttle service operating in town or contact the winery about leaving your car in their overflow car park. (See 'Links' for details)

Fun single track to ride with flowing bermed sections with small jumps , technical short climbs and log crossings set amongst some nice bush. Rode trail after heavy rain the day before to get away from slippery muddy trails at Pile Rd this track was compacted nicely. Rode a few laps of the trail and each time getting faster really enjoyable morning .Well done to the local trail makers good little track.... Well worth a visit.

Hard to find and needs a bit of TLC.. but we've enjoyed it.
The ale at nearby Harris Valley winery & brewery was very enjoyable
7.5/10 for the trail
we'll come again

Older style XC track fairly tight and compounded. The Dog Log realignment has more berm's and some more flow. Good to ride at night as there are old bike reflectors around the trail. A lot of the trail features were burnt during the burn off but still good fun to ride.
