If you're not into riding, this is the trail for you. This figure of eight trail starts near the trailhead at a stand of tall poplar trees and then loops through cool, shady peppermint groves. Unlike other trees at the Arboretum that were planted to see how they grew in this climate, the poplars were chosen for their beauty and 'decorative purposes'.

Please keep your dog on a lead. The western end of this trail is dual use - be aware of bikes.
