Access to Beedelup Falls is via a 300 metre walk trail from the carpark.  The trail takes you across a 25 metre suspension bridge that spans Beedelup Brook.

You can see a great view of the falls from the bridge or from timber boardwalks and platforms.  In winter when the falls are thundering you may be able to feel the spray.  As you walk upstream to another bridge, look for the masses of maidenhair fern and mosses which creep at the base of the trees.  On a fine day, catch the sun filtering through the karri treetops or hear the frogs calling from their hidden homes.

When you arrive at the picnic site, where the walk loop starts, listen for the birds and the muted roar of the falls. Then, as you descend the steps through a corridor of trees and creepers, pause to listen to the forest, and look out over Waterfall Dam, the huge lake into which the falls empty.

I completed the shorter route of this walk, which included a swinging suspension bridge with great views of the falls and flowing river. Perfect short loop to immerse yourself and escape in nature with a longer walk option available!

Hiked in June. It was rather wet but that was no problem. The falls are gorgeous and definitely worth the ascent. Walking along the lake is beautiful, too. The RAC Karri Valley Resort allows walk-ups (i.e. those who are not staying there overnight) for canoe/kayak rental by the hour. We wished we had budgeted time for this into our day.

Such a pretty walk, lots of forest friends to look out for, the falls are a nice place to sit and enjoy.

August walk. Was a bit soggy and a part is a huge puddle but with an easy bypass. It looks like the winter has been very hectic and there are a lot a branches and trees across the track. However they are easy to navigate around.

River is running fast and the falls are in full glory.

Quite hard in some parts but well worth the views!
