Learn moreThe Pelican Trail follows the banks of the Blackwood River estuary at the sleepy town of Augusta. It is magnificently peaceful, especially on calm evenings. For earlybirds, sunrises are spectacular. Often the tranquil waters are broken by surfacing dolphins and splashing fish.
As the name suggests, pelicans feeding and resting on rocks are an everyday event. There is nothing difficult about this trail and it is easily accessible from waterfront holiday homes and the town caravan park.
