Prepared and used to heal skin problems. Liquid sipped to alleviate a cold or sore throat.

Bush medicine. The leaves and branches are covered with sticky oil glands that smell like Vicks Vapour Rub. Used to alleviate congestion and aching joints.

The large, white, pea flower is eaten as a bush vegetable and is referred to as 'bush cabbage'.

The sweet, paw-paw like fruit is a favourite of the Nglaruma people. The small black seeds are bitter and these are not eaten.
