Starting at the John Forrest National Park picnic and parking area, this trail follows Jane Brook along the busy Railway Reserves Heritage Trail through to the stunning National Park Falls. 

The falls when running cascade over large granite rock formations into a lush green valley in the cooler months (September to October), and there's a small viewing bridge to cross over for a great view.

What’s the weather like?

Bush Walk

Class 2

Easy trail with modified or hardened surface, and gentle hills or occasional steps. Clear directional signage. No bushwalking experience required. May be suitable for assisted wheelchair users (if ramps are provided at steps).

The Railway Reserves Heritage Trail is very popular with cyclists and trail runners, be mindful if you have kids in your group, stick to the left and be courteous to one another.

We did this walk on a crisp Sunday morning with kids in tow and they loved it. Very well sign posted and lots of great spots to have lunch. Looking forward to going back in August to do the longer wildflower walk.
