Learn moreThe Greenbushes township was named after the bright green bushes that contrast with the grey eucalyptus trees. Greenbushes abounds in natural and pioneering heritage, with many features of interest scattered throughout the forest surrounds of the township.
As shown on the downloadable map image, starting from the Heritage Park, opposite the Greenbushes Discovery Centre, there are two parts to this trail:

Drive or bus to Greenbushes, 240km from Perth
Opposite the Greenbushes Discovery Centre at the Heritage Park on Blackwood Road, Greenbushes. 250km (3 hours) South of Perth
Return to the Heritage Park
Class 2
Easy trail with modified or hardened surface, and gentle hills or occasional steps. Clear directional signage. No bushwalking experience required. May be suitable for assisted wheelchair users (if ramps are provided at steps).
Group A - Urban Trails (Urban trails or short trails near facilities)
Group B - Hiking & Long Distance Trails (Bushwalks and/or longer trails)

There is a picnic area opposite the Greenbushes Discovery Centre in the Heritage Park with BBQ facilities, sheltered areas and historic equipment displays to explore. All of the Greenbushes walk trails commence at the Heritage Park. The public toilets are nearby.
