Learn moreMillbrook Trail is a big ride both in length and difficulty with plenty of climbing involved. Make sure you carry adequate of water and only attempt this ride if you are fit and enjoy climbing or are prepared to walk uphill.
You will find the trail on Pile Rd, just west of the River Rd intersection.
The first bit is an old school rut-a-thon as you bomb down the old track; straight down the hill. Once at the bottom there is a pretty and mellow section as you ride along next to the creek, but once you turn up it gets really steep as you climb back up to the top again. In the last 3km you climb almost 200m. The trail ends on Lennard Road, where you can either get a lift back down the hill or ride the extra 3 km back to Pile Rd.
