Learn moreThe trail starts and ends from the car park on the Northern side of the lake. This easy ride mainly follows fire roads but about 30% of the trail is single-track. There are few hills and no technically difficult sections making it ideal for beginner mountain bikers and families. In addition there's a beginner to intermediate Pump Track for the family to enjoy or to practice your skills on before tackling the trail.
For more of a challenge there are dirt jumps in Chidlow and an engaging intermediate to advance cross country loop at Forysths Mill less than five minutes away.
Lake Leschenaultia is open all year round and is a popular recreational area offering walk trails, bbq facilities, swimming and canoe hire in summer. With this much to do it's worth making a weekend of it and camping overnight.
The gates open at 8.30am (8am on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast at the cafe) and closes at sunset plus 30mins all year round.

Grade 1
No bushwalking experience required. Flat even surface with no steps or steep sections. Suitable for wheelchair users who have someone to assist them. Walks no greater than 5km.
Easiest
Likely to be a fire road or wide single track with a gentle gradient, smooth surface and free of obstacles. Frequent encounters are likely with other cyclists, walkers, runners and horse riders. For beginner/novice cyclists in good health with basic bike skills. Suitable for most bikes.
Can be hot in the summer but you can then take a dip in the lake to cool off
Free entry to Park. Fees apply for camping.
