Sunset or sunrise is a great time to view this awesome landscape.

One of the most amazing features of Karijini National Park's complex network of gorges is that they appear out of nowhere and make you gasp in awe. This lookout is no exception.

After negotiating some steps you come to a platform that is bordered by a safety railing system for a very good reason. Even with the railing, you may get an attack of vertigo as the gorge plunges 100 metres from your feet. Then you focus on the far gorge wall that curves spectacularly around a bend in the river.

Knox Gorge Carpark in Karijini Natonal Park. 105km from Tom Price, which is 1500km (16 hours) north of Perth

Trail Access

Drive or bus to Tom Price (100km to Karijini Visitor Centre) or Fly to Parabadoo. Roads to Park may be closed after heavy rain. Check conditions before travelling.
