Ken Jones worked throughout the Jarrah Forest areas from Shannon River in south Glen Eagle in the north for the former Forests Department. Throughout the 1970s and early 1880s, Ken developed mining rehabilitation techniques and was instrumental in the development of previously mined areas.

No bushwalking experience required. The track is a hardened or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km. Suitable for families with young children.
