Learn moreAbout Karri Walk Trail, Denmark
The Karri Walk Trail is an easy bush walk departing from the Annie Harrison Park on Barnett Street in Denmark town, and passing through scenic karri and paperbark forest, with some townscape views as it skirts the Denmark Recreation Centre grounds.
The walk provides a gentle experience of the height and beauty of the karri forest, filled with bird calls and shady coolness under the green canopy. The walk ends at the Denmark heritage railway bridge, where an interpretative information shelter gives an insight into the history of Denmark, and picnic and BBQ facilities are available for public use, in a beautiful setting adjacent to the Denmark River.
Further recreational activities and public toilets can be accessed at the Denmark Rivermouth Caravan Park, near the end point of the walk.
