About Walpole Town Jetty to Walpole River, Kapagup Nornalup Paddle Network
This paddle is 5km and takes you from the Walpole Town Jetty, up the Walpole River to where the South West Highway crosses the river.
You can also paddle the Walpole River from Rest Point or Swarbrick Jetty.
Offering protection from the wind, the Walpole River is generally classified as easy with slow to fast moving water and few obstacles. Although the Walpole River flows all year round, about eighty percent of the discharge occurs during winter and spring, which can result in seasonal currents.
You can paddle to a range of destinations from Walpole Town Jetty. Look for other suggestions in the Kapagup Nornalup Paddle Network on TrailsWA or on the trailhead signage at Walpole Town Jetty.
