Learn moreAbout John George Trail, Woodbridge
The John George Trail is a 5.5km, dual use pathway with both a gravel and paved option, providing access for walkers, bikes, wheelchairs and prams.
Weaving it's way along the banks of the Swan River the trail explores a variety of flora, wildlife, history points and views of our wine region, on the opposite shore. The pathway also passes a variety of rest stops both natural and man made, some with chess tables and games to play for young and old.
For a family outing start at the Woodbridge Play Space as it offers play equipment, picnic areas, BBQ's, toilets and a kayak launch area.
The Play Space is one of few facilities in the Perth area to incorporate super accessible amenities into the design. It features play and social opportunities for wheelchair users and visitors with other physical or intellectual impairments.
Inclusive parking is available including spaces for vans with rear lifts and several extra wide bays. There is also a ceiling hoist and change facilities for children and adults.
For a more quiet finish by the river, park at the Reg Bond Reserve. There are no toilets here only beautiful, quiet views of the upper Swan River.
