Learn moreAbout Jetty to Jetty Trail, Broome
To get a real insight into Broome’s incredibly rich cultural essence and history, do the 3.4km one-way Jetty to Jetty Trail. The trail is mainly flat, with some small hills. It mostly follows paved paths that run in a meandering way to take in important sites between Streeters’s Jetty and the old Jetty.
Some of the more notable sites featured on the Broome Heritage Trail are also included on the Jetty to Jetty Trail. Some of the more interesting landmarks only featured on the Jetty to Jetty Trail include: the old Courthouse, a beautiful example of tropical architecture, historic pearling locations; the Pioneer Cemetery and Kennedy Hill.
A map is available at the Broome Visitors Centre. You can also download the free Jetty to Jetty app which offers fantastic information. There is some directional as well as great interpretive signage along the way. You can catch a bus if getting tired. Check timetables.
