Learn more

The Irwin Lookout Trail in Coalseam Conservation Park is a 560m loop walk that starts from the parking area and leads to lookouts along a cliff edge above the Irwin River.

This trail offers spectacular views of the valley below and the surrounding park.

You can learn about the area's geology from the signs situated along the trail and possibly spot wildlife, such as peregrine falcons and wedge-tailed eagles.

The trail is especially popular during spring when the park is blanketed in colourful wildflowers.
