Recommended for beginner riders with basic mountain bike skills. Typically flowing, open trails on firm terrain with gentle gradients. Surface may be uneven, loose or muddy at times. Riders may encounter small rollable obstacles and technical trail features.
Gridlocked is a 2 kilometre uphill green trail, in the Kalamunda Mountain Bike Network. Splitting off from the Munda Biddi, it ends at the start of Flaccid Ashback.
Heading back to the Black Stump but still have some juice left in the legs? Gridlocked might be for you. Climbing up off the fire trail it ducks and weaves. If you are running out of energy it is easier to simply stay on the fire track and ride up the hill.
