Greenbushes Pool Boardwalk, Greenbushes
The Greenbushes Pool Boardwalk is a short trail around an attractive natural waterhole located on the Spring Gully watercourse within walking distance of the Greenbushes townsite. The 513 metre walk trail includes 230 metres of decked boardwalk and 286 metres of gravel pathways around and along the water’s edge.

The walk can be accessed as part of the longer Greenbushes Loop walk trail from Maranup Ford road, or by parking at the Spring Gully Road car park for Greenbushes pool, or the car park near the camping area. The walk featurers interpretive signage providing information about local flora and fauna. There are a number of viewing decks and some seats which enable walkers to pause and enjoy native Jarrah forest and riparian vegetation including sedges and paperbark trees close to the waters edge.
Camping up to 3 days is permitted at the Greenbushes Pool campground.

Drive or bus to Greenbushes, 240km south of Perth.
Trail Start
Norm Lindsay Reserve carpark at Greenbushes Pool and follow the loop circuit around Greenbushes pool either way.

Class 2
Easy trail with modified or hardened surface, and gentle hills or occasional steps. Clear directional signage. No bushwalking experience required. May be suitable for assisted wheelchair users (if ramps are provided at steps).
Additional information
Most of this trail is wheelchair (and gopher) accessible, however there are some gentle inclines to navigate, which may require assistance.

What To Pack
Group B - Hiking & Long Distance Trails (Bushwalks and/or longer trails)
- Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (SPF 30+)
- Insect repellent
- Plenty of drinking water (as a minimum carry and drink 1 litre of water per hour of walking, per person).
- PLB or satellite phone
- Clothing to suit the activity, environment and weather conditions.
- Map/ Compass, do not rely on your phone in remote locations.
- Snacks/ Meals to keep your energy levels up on longer walks
- Extra food and water in case of unexpected delays
- Rubbish bag to remove all your rubbish
- Reference material such as wildflower wildlife guides.
- Whistle (for emergencies, six short blasts per minute)
- Small trowel for toilet emergencies, and a few sheets of toilet paper in a small waterproof bag.
- Personal first aid kit (check that items are clean, properly sealed, have not exceeded expiry dates and that used items have been replaced).
