Situated in the Darling Ranges, John Forrest is the oldest National Park in Western Australia and passes through varied vegetation types, including heathlands, open wandoo woodlands and mixed jarrah marri-wandoo forest.
The Glen Brook Trail provides a number of different options for a range of park visitors. Several bridges and linking trails allow for shorter options close to the carpark. For the more adventurous, the full 4.5km loop trail provides visitors with opportunities to explore the southern section of the park including the headwaters of Glen Brook.
Keep a lookout for marker posts amongst the rocky outcrops to ensure you keep to the marked trail.
