This 800 metre circular loop walk trail leads to the Giant Tingle Tree. The tree base is 24 metres, making it the largest, living, girthed eucalypt in the world.

The trail to the Giant Tingle Tree is a sealed path for the first 400 metres, then as you approach the tree you will come across a board walk with viewing areas. Visitors with a wheelchair or pram should return from the Giant Tingle Tree the way they came to avoid the steps.

There are numerous benches and interpretive signage on the way, so you can take your time and enjoy the Karri and Tingle forest.

The pathway beyond the Giant Tingle Tree will take you back to the car park is an unsealed walk trail.

The trail is shared with the Bibbulmun Track which is clearly marked.

We love to hear from people who've been on our Western Australian trails, so it would be most appreciated it if you wanted to leave a review.

The best short walk in Western Australia without a doubt! The two biggest red tingle trees known, Hollow Trunk and Old Rusty are on this trail both over 200 m³ in volume! The drive up on Hilltop Road from Walpole is just as good!
