Just did this loop yesterday and the wildflowers were everywhere! Such an incredible diversity of flowers in one place. After the initial paved section the trail is mostly single file, sandy and gravelly. Gently sloping, meandering, but easily walkable. Wonderful views all around. Highly recommended for this time of year.

This is a great shorter walk for those who can't or don't want to tackle the longer walks at Lesueur NP. It also provides an extension to the Lesueur Trail for those wanting a longer hike. There is some amazing scenery along the trail and there are wildflowers nearly all year around. The best of the wildflowers are in August and September.
