About Emu Walk, Giralia Station
The walk is over flat ground with a maximum of a two-metre rise and is well sign posted. There are rest stations on all walks. The wildflowers are abundant in late winter and spring (August to October). The property has stunted wattle, buffel grass, spinifex, blue bottlebrush and snake wood trees. This is a nice place to view the sunset.
Giralia Station is an old sheep station on the Exmouth Gulf, 125km south of Exmouth.

- Sun hat or bike helmet (compulsory in WA)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen (30+) and insect repellant
- Binoculars and camera (optional)
- Map or guide book where suggested
- Snacks and/or lunch depending on length of trail
- Clothes to suit the activity and potential weather conditions including a water/windproof jacket
- First Aid kit
Giralia Homestead, 1000km north of Perth and 125km south of Exmouth
No bushwalking experience required. The track is a hardened or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km. Suitable for families with young children.
