This trail begins at the Fishermen's Lookout and Obelisk located at Point Leander named in recognition of the first known shipwreck in the area, the Leander. This site is a memorial to the many lives lost on the treacherous coast. Follow the trail on the coastline to South Beach where families enjoy swimming in the blue waters, you can also stop at the Star Fish Cafe for refreshments.
Head back to the Marina via White Tops Road and George Street, the Foreshore area used to contain several stores, warehouses and shelter sheds. Later it was a very popular holiday spot for campers.
