We’re a crafty lot in the Margaret River Region. Our Craft Beer Trail takes in stunning locations from Busselton along Geographe Bay, picturesque Caves Road to Margaret River and farmland and forest in-between. All are family-friendly and offer food celebrating fresh, seasonal produce with indoor and outdoor dining, some with stunning views.

The Margaret River Region has the highest concentration of microbreweries in Western Australia – what a great reason to fill your glass with a frothie and say cheers!

Just 20 years ago there was one lone brewery in the region, and as they used to say, they were ‘an oasis in a desert of wine’. They’re still going strong but are now in great company. Beer lovers are spoilt for choice with more than ten exciting producers who are equally passionate about their beer and the region they call home.

Each of our breweries has their own distinctive style but all have a love for hospitality and sharing their beer with mates on a sunny afternoon down south.

All offering tasting paddles, you’re sure to find your favourite beer style at a Margaret River Region brewery, and quite possibly discover a new one too. We have many award winners amongst the 10 breweries on our trail, with exciting new beers being created all the time. From Saison to Stout, we have you covered.

As a local I am lucky to visit quite a few of these breweries on a number of occasions. I've yet to still visit every single one, but of the ones I have been to (brewhouse, wildhop, caves road, beerfarm, cheekys) they offer a great selection of beers (paddle boards), food and great settings to enjoy the summer sun.

Amazing way to spend a weekend. Such a variation between each brewery- all offering a great experience in their own way!! All kid friendly, and most dog friendly, with great food & wine options also. So much fun to be had!
